Studio PCS is a small boutique design firm based in Portland, OR. We specialize in simple, elegant websites for small businesses and creative professionals with a focus on online portfolios for artists, photographers, architects and designers. Unlike our larger cousins we keep our overhead down so we can keep our prices low. Instead of relying on an in-house staff we call on a network of graphic designers and programmers to fulfill needs from project to project. If you've gone to a large design firm and received a five-figure, budget-busting estimate for your project come give us a call. You will find us ready with dozens of ideas to get your business up on the internet. You've put off building a website for long enough, let's get started!

Julie Skarratt Photography

Julie's original website was one of the first we ever did, and when it came time to re-design she came back to us. We wanted to design a site befitting such amazing photography, so we let the pictures tell the story. We wanted the pictures to stand out as much as possible, however we wanted the transitions between images to be smooth and natural.

Maria McBride-Mellinger

Maria McBride is the wedding style director for Brides Magazine and a longtime friend of our studio. For this re-design – coinciding with the release of her latest book, Party Basics for New Nesters – we wanted a beautiful springtime feel that coordinated perfectly with the design of the book. Lots of sunshiny colors and tons of tidbits from Maria's fertile imagination make this site great fun for her fans and for those just discovering her work.

Alisberg-Parker Architects

We designed and programmed a beautiful Flash website for this firm based in Old Greenwich, CT. The goal was to have a site that was easy to navigate, that matched the elegant style of the client's architectural designs and had a user-friendly flow. We are particularly proud of the transitions between pages and the simple manner in which the client's work is presented.

Joerg Huber / Art of Danger

Paris-based artist Joerg Huber is another returning client. For this re-design he wanted something dark and unique, the perfect showcase for his mixed-media work that explores the dark site of human society. We built for him a Flash website in three languages, keeping things simple yet creating the perfect platform for Joerg's work, combining sound and smooth transitions to create a unique experience.
