Yoga Playgrounds is a local company offering yoga sessions for kids, so we wanted to make their identity and website bright, fun and accessible. With ease users can sign up for the mailing list, check the calendar and keep track of happenings, all in a fun, friendly environment!
The principal of this development firm wanted to pull back from his information-laden, busy corporate website. He wanted something clean and simple, yet professional and informative. We built this small site as the perfect platform for future expansion, but in the meantime potential clients can get an informative first glimpse at Alpert Capital's scope of services.
A very basic starter site for this architect based in Harrison, NY. Jacob needed to get something up quick, without waiting for his projects to be photographed. We obliged with this gorgeous Flash site, a simple "web brochure" to get some potential clients in the door.
Kristin is another returning client. We did her original website, and after a few years it was time for an upgrade. We wanted the images to be big, we wanted them to jump out of the screen, but we also wanted the site navigation to be simple and intuitive. With a logo designed by Tepino Integrated Branding in Coral Gables, FL we had the perfect website: beautiful, easy to use and functional.
This online magazine highlighting the philanthropic scene in southern Fairfield County, CT needed a cost effective way to maintain their site. Studio PCS came forward and streamlined the operation, reduced costs and improved the overall look of the site.
Julie's original website was one of the first we ever did, and when it came time to re-design she came back to us. We wanted to design a site befitting such amazing photography, so we let the pictures tell the story. We wanted the pictures to stand out as much as possible, however we wanted the transitions between images to be smooth and natural.
Maria McBride is the wedding style director for Brides Magazine and a longtime friend of our studio. For this re-design – coinciding with the release of her latest book, Party Basics for New Nesters – we wanted a beautiful springtime feel that coordinated perfectly with the design of the book. Lots of sunshiny colors and tons of tidbits from Maria's fertile imagination make this site great fun for her fans and for those just discovering her work.
This California interior designer was looking for a clean, simple, pixel-perfect showcase for her work. We obliged her with a simple interface and design elements that remain stationary from page to page. The perfect site for a consummate perfectionist.
This website for Spanish-born abstract painter Senen Ubiña was a simple one: Let these beautiful paintings stand out alone without any interference from "over-designed" pages. A clean user-interface and an easy layout make it the perfect showcase for this master's work.
Designers are among our favorite clients. Their search for perfection rivals our own, and Emily was looking for a site that was pixel-perfect. After a great deal of trial and error we created this website. It showcases Emily's work within a confined space which never shifts as you go from page to page. The color pallet is lovely, and Emily's work shines through!
This site for an after-school program at P.S. 116 in New York City was designed to be fun, accessible and informative. Parents, students and the plain curious will find a lot to look at here.
We aimed for an "Old West" feel for this site, while still making it modern and accessible. There are lots of touches here that we like, especially the "before and after" rollovers.
We designed and programmed a beautiful Flash website for this firm based in Old Greenwich, CT. The goal was to have a site that was easy to navigate, that matched the elegant style of the client's architectural designs and had a user-friendly flow. We are particularly proud of the transitions between pages and the simple manner in which the client's work is presented.
This machinery moving and industrial construction company needed a brochure, but something a cut above the usual 3 section fold-out. We also needed to distinguish between the 6 branches of the company, each with its own separate identity. The final product was a success, and helped to raise the bar on this company's marketing presence.
Paris-based artist Joerg Huber is another returning client. For this re-design he wanted something dark and unique, the perfect showcase for his mixed-media work that explores the dark site of human society. We built for him a Flash website in three languages, keeping things simple yet creating the perfect platform for Joerg's work, combining sound and smooth transitions to create a unique experience.
This website for our sister firm is, to us, the ideal portfolio presentation site. The imagery is front and center here, with beautiful, smooth transitions and a simple, user-friendly interface. Clean, sharp and simple is our aesthetic to the end.
One of our favorite websites we've done (and our favorite hot-waffle ice cream sandwich, too!), built in partnership with our longtime friends at DirtyDesign. We wanted to capture the color and fun of this outdoor cafe, just next to the UN in midtown Manhattan, yet still convey enough information to get folks down there for a lunchtime treat or after work drink.
Chi Chi is a talented interior & portrait photographer out of Fairfield Co., CT, and we have worked on many projects with him & his wife Elaine. This portfolio site is comprehensive, smooth and elegant, one of our all time faves.
This website is one of our favorite kinds to build: perfect for the small business or one-man operation, it is a simple "brochure" website. It is clean, uncluttered and informative, with only one or two pages. Every small business should have a website, and it doesn't need to be a flashy monster!
